As a, Animana you will architect, build and support the cloud-based networking and computing infrastructure for applications in an AWS environment. This is the perfect opening if you want to use your programming abilities to solve challenging automation problems.

This hybrid role requires working in the Hoofddorp a couple of days a week.

We are a team of 25: Full Stack Developers, QAs, Data Technicians, Data Engineers, UI Designer and Scrum Master. Our technology stack: Java, Spring, MongoDB, AWS, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, Javascript

In this role:

  • You will build and support the cloud-based networking and computing infrastructure for the application.
  • You will work closely with development and QA teams, providing support on operations issues, helping with making technology choices.
  • You will contribute to and make recommendations on architecture.
  • You will be an integral member of the Scrum Team and will participate in Scrum/Agile “rituals”.
  • You, together with development and business partner, will increase reliability and efficiency through automation.
  • You will collaborate with Developers and the broader IDEXX global DevOps peers to learn/teach and experience everything that the organization has to offer in the way of technology.
  • You will participate in an office hours on-call rotation to be the first point of contact for production incidents.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • You have a background in software development in Python or Java.
  • You are an expert in MySQL and MongoDB installation & maintenance administration.
  • You performed tasks in Linux systems such as command line usage, patching, and configuration.
  • You are familiar with various AWS cloud services (current, upcoming and future).
  • Infrastructure as code, preferably CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
  • You have a fundamental knowledge of network concepts including TCP, UDP, routing, port assignment and security.
  • You understand system monitoring techniques (i.e., Datadog).
  • You have experience with Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • You’ve used a source code repository (Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.) before.

What you can expect from us:

  • Base annual salary target: EUR75,000 – 80,000 (we do have flexibility if needed).
  • Opportunity for annual cash bonus.
  • 25 annual holidays, an opportunity for two floating and two volunteer days
