Credit Analyst

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Boxmeer, (Netherlands), to be responsible for guardianship, administration, and collection of all outstanding invoices in favour of Marel.

This covers analysis of financial data to assess the likelihood of a customer honouring its financial obligations. A main tool in connection with determining the creditworthiness is coverage of the Credit Insurance Company of Marel.

As Credit Analyst, in your daily tasks, you will:

• Assess creditworthiness of existing or prospective customers, examine financial transactions and credit history and create projections
• Judge in detail incoming bank guarantees and Letter of Credits in favour of Marel & submit and administrate them
• Provide (bank) guarantees in favour of our customers & considered recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
• Put together cash forecasts for incoming payments on a monthly base
• Collect all outstanding invoices in the cooperation with internal departments

In order to be successful in this position, we expect that you get soon/have lately got a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields. Moreover, you bring with you:

• Understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts
• Preferably 2+ experience working at a similar position and knowledge of business processes
• Team spirit
• Analytical and organizational skills, ability to think along with departments
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
