The Global Planning team is responsible for organization and implementation of a complex Supply Chain operation, which consists of the creation and management of demand and the related supply plan, inventory management and process control. They plan, implement and control the efficient flow and storage of goods, services, and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet customer's requirements and partner with the different entities within the Value chain.

About the role

An Analyst within the Global Planning department is a mid-level professional with a solid foundation in data analysis and reporting within the supply chain context. They are responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analysing data related to supply chain operations. They create reports, develop metrics and KPIs, identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to support decision-making. Analysts collaborate closely with Value Chain Planning managers to understand their reporting needs and provide timely and accurate information. Some of your tasks could include:

  • Conducting data analysis, modelling, and interpretation.

  • Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

  • Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Leading reporting and analytics projects.

  • Planning and coordinating project activities and timelines.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver on project goals. Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Sharing knowledge and expertise with junior analysts.

  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

About you

  • Strong Academic record.

  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or statistical software (e.g., R or Python)

  • Experience with data modelling and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and concepts

  • Strong technical knowledge or background in analytics tools, building dashboards and automation.
