The IT department supports the strategy and objectives of the organization by providing IT systems and infrastructure for IBFD’s cross-border taxation-based publications and software products to customers all over the world. The department develops and maintains publication workflows, document processing systems and IBFD’s Tax Research Platform, a proprietary portal for cross-border taxation expertise. Additionally, it supports the internal office infrastructure and workflows and supports staff in their day-today activities. The IT team currently consists of approximately 30 FTE.

In 2023 IBFD made the switch from Oracle eBS to Microsoft Dynamics 365. With D365 CE (Customer Engagement) and D365 Finance/F&O, the Finance, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales departments have the platform to support their day-to-day operations. IBFD intends to further utilize and develop functionality based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 to continue our digital transformation. Therefore, we have a challenging position for a

Technical Application Manager 365 (Developer)

The ideal candidate has a background in developing for D365 Finance/F&O (or predecessors AX, Axapta) and ideally also in CE / Power Platform (or willingness to learn), with a natural drive to further develop his/her knowledge, also on more functional areas.

You will be part of the team that is responsible for maintaining, extending, and supporting the ERP and CRM applications used to fulfil our services to the customer. In 2024 the team will transition from mainly external development and support to internal capacity. Support from an external party may continue to be used.

Tasks & responsibilities

Your work will include configuration and customization of the platform, along with integrations with other (internal and external) IBFD solutions. You will work mostly independent but can also be supported by external consultants.

In addition to the above:

  • Develop enhancements for D365 Finance/F&O
  • Develop document layouts (e.g. invoice layout, remittance advice, collection letters) and related data models/model mappings for Finance
  • Develop solutions in CE/Power Platform
  • Support key users with issues that relate to integrations and technical components
  • Deploy code releases/solutions deployment in both D365 Finance/F&O and CE/Power Platform
  • Manage software updates/releases from Microsoft in both D365 Finance/F&O as well as CE

Skills & competencies

Demonstrable knowledge of capabilities of the software in the Microsoft stack (certification is a positive), including:

  • Dynamics 365 Finance/F&O
  • Dual Write
  • Azure DevOps
  • Experience in D365 Customer Engagement family of apps, PowerApps, Flow and Dataverse (Common Data Service) is a big plus
  • Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS)
  • X++
  • Natural interest in processes and the functional working of the application to truly understand why certain changes are made/developed.
  • Interest and willingness to extend skills and experience to areas outside of, but related to, Dynamics 365. We are looking for an eager developer, that look beyond their main area of expertise.

Salary & Fringe Benefits

We offer you a fulltime (37 hrs) gross monthly salary between €5,300 and €5,700 depending on background and relevant work experience, completed by an attractive package of fringe benefits:
