Who are we?

Cloetta, founded in 1862, is a leading confectionary company in Northern Europe. Our products are sold in more than 50 countries worldwide with Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK as the main markets.

We own some of the strongest brands on the market, e.g., Red Band, The Jelly Bean Factory, Venco, Lonka, Chewits, Jenkki, KEXchoklad, Malaco, Sportlife, Läkerol and Nutisal. Most of them with a long heritage tradition.

What will you be contributing to?

As an intern in the Procurement department, you will get to know all aspects of our direct and indirect supply chain. We are an international department, where we are responsible for the sourcing of ingredients, packaging, 3rd party and indirect materials for the full Cloetta group.

Our team consists of a Procurement Director, Sourcing Managers and a Procurement Operations & Systems Specialist. We have close contact with all Cloetta factories (Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia, Sweden and Ireland) and of course our suppliers, both within and outside Europe.

Your responsibility will be…

• Following Ingredients and Packaging markets by providing buyers with data
• Data analysis for the Sourcing Managers
• Contract management
• Investigating the price differences between invoice and purchase order
• Supporting the tender process for ingredients, packaging, 3rd Party and indirect materials, in collaboration with the Sourcing Managers
• Providing support in strategic projects for the Procurement team e.g sustainability initiatives and tenders

Our head office is located in Breda. The internship is 32-40 hours. 2 days per week on internship activities and remaining time can be spent on thesis research, where we offer 1-on-1 guidance. We work hybrid, which means you can partly work from home. In short; we offer you a challenging and all-round internship. During your time at Cloetta you will also be able to view the production process of our sweets during a factory tour.
