The opportunity - What future are you building towards?

As an S/4HANA Functional Consultant, your primary focus is to drive technology-enabled business transformation by leveraging leading industry practices within your functional area. This involves understanding our customers' requirements and objectives, ensuring clarity and transparency in communication, hands-on configuration of the S/4HANA system, and guiding the IT transformation process

You will have frequent customer contact and are also the point of contact for them. You are the SAP expert for the customer, can answer their functional questions well and know how to channel the more technical questions well. Finally, there is also the challenge of developing yourself further within the extensive SAP portfolio, keeping a close eye on developments and working with them hands-on.

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

• Leading the client workshops based on industry best practices and S/4 HANA capabilities;
• Translating business requirements into S/4HANA design;
• Drawing up the business (and technical) blueprint regarding S/4HANA design;
• Advising the client on improvement actions within the client's field of work (by means of interviews and workshops);
• Designing and implementing process improvements through the project cycle (design, build, test, training, go-live, post go-live support);
• Ensure the alignment between IT and business regarding S/4HANA transformation;
• Hands-on configuration of S/4HANA on premise (or cloud);
• Delivering S/4HANA ('train-the-trainer') training session for project members;
• Performing and supporting test work on S/4HANA;
• Supporting role of the Project leader in the form of PMO during the transformation.

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?

• Completed Bachelor or Masters education, e.g. Business Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration;
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in industry or consultancy;
• Experience in at least 2 full life-cycle S/4 HANA implementation projects
• Knowledge of SAP related products and market developments;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Strong knowledge of Supply chain management processes;
• Proven knowledge and experience SAP S/4 Supply Chain Execution (MM, EWM, TM, LBN, GTS);
• An independent, proactive and flexible work attitude;
• Very good analytical and critical skills;
• Furthermore, you do not mind having to travel (internationally) regularly;

• Knowledge and experience with adjacent S/4 solutions;
• Experience with SAP Activate;
• Skills to work well in a team and have ambitions to grow into a professional within our leading organization;
• Skills to independently identify (follow-up) assignments with existing customers;
• Skills and sense of responsibility to supervise more junior colleagues and to support them professionally.
