Reach your full potential as a Trainee Purchase Manager

As a Trainee Purchase Manager, you will be involved in our Beauty product segment. In this role, you'll be continuously managing our inventory. By analyzing data, you ensure that our products do not go out of stock and that we don't overstock. You will be part of a team of 11 individuals, closely collaborating with one colleague focused on wholesale.

What will you be doing?

You'll maintain customer contact with existing suppliers and aim to expand your network by building new relationships. You'll maintain digital and phone contact with your suppliers regarding orders. Each supplier deals with multiple brands. Based on past data, you'll estimate the size of the orders. Additionally, registering and processing purchase orders will be part of your responsibilities. You ensure a flawless order process, working accurately.

You possess a commercial mindset, are entrepreneurial, and enjoy thinking outside the box. Your motivation is to grow rapidly and learn as much as possible within your team. You achieve this by asking a lot of questions and conducting independent research. You thrive on pushing boundaries and continuously challenging yourself!

You:

  • Have completed a commercial education, at least at a bachelor's level
  • Have gained approximately 1 year of experience in a purchasing role, for example, during an internship or part-time job
  • Are proficient in Excel and strong in numerical skills
  • Have international experience, such as a foreign internship or study period
  • Have an excellent command of both Dutch and English
  • Proficiency in an additional language is advantageous
