As a Trainee within Arvato, you will gain valuable experience within Logistics in combination with exclusive training courses and real-life assignments. You will be able to develop your competences and skills on professional level while being personally guided and coached.

BECOME A TRAINEE WITHIN ARVATO

Arvato acknowledges that one size, doesn’t fit all. Therefore, you will start your traineeship based on a Personal Development Plan. This custom sized plan is based upon your expertise and ambitions. Together, we will determine which path is the best match to reach your goals. We strongly believe that by 'being on it' you will find out where your strength and passion lies! The traineeship at Arvato lasts up to a period of approximately 18 months.

During your traineeship, you will receive valuable soft skill trainings from a senior trainer. You will strengthen your personal leadership skils, improve your professional communication skills and gain the best stakeholder management techniques. We organize intervision sessions for our Management Trainees to reflect upon your experiences and learning curves. Hard-skill trainings are organized on topics such as LEAN, SAP, Legal basics and Finance.

Besides these training opportunities, a lot of your development takes place during working hours. You will work on challenging real-world assignments, how cool is that?!

+ Customized plan

For a period up to 18 months you’ll dive into Arvato’s world. To customize this Traineeship we build the program of the traineeship based on your talents and challenges. Within Arvato we know three kinds of management that are focused on the business; Engineering, Accountmanagement, Operational Management. In what order, how long and to what level you want to get acquainted with each way of working is exactly what we’re going to customize with together with you.

+ Soft Skills Training

Soft skills are an important tool for every manager. They enable you to make a difference. Anywhere. Reason enough to include this in the traineeship program. A senior trainer will challenge and guide you to get the best out of yourself. Reflecting on what you’re doing in practice, how this influences your and others’ behavior and get insight in how to manage difficult situations. Regularly, you will be reflecting on this by the provided intervision meetings.

+ Skills training

During the traineeship certain basic trainings are standard scheduled. This is to ensure that you have the right skills to excel in your work. The program exists out of (not limited to) legal, LEAN, finance and SAP training.

Besides that, Arvato offers a wide variety of trainings that can be followed online or on location. If there is need for any training, we can discuss this during your traineeship period.

+ Locations

Traineeship will take place in Heijen, Venlo and Venray. Because of the rotation between different fields of expertise, you will work on several of Arvato’s locations.

What you will bring to the table

You are at the starting stage of your career where you have a strong desire to further develop your existing experience, abilities and skill set in a dynamic, international and high tech environment. The following are some of the key skills, attributes and experience that we would like to see:

• You currently live in the Netherlands;

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics or Logistics;

• Passioned about Logistics and Leadership;

• Flexible;

• Hands-on mentality;

• Excellent oral and written skills in English.

What we offer

We offer you a challenging traineeship, tailored to your needs and ambitions, where you combine learning by assignments with learning by doing. It is a full-time position for 40 hours a week. We have a non-contributory pension, which means that on average you have a higher net salary compared to other companies! In addition, we offer:

FAQs

- What are the starting dates of the traineeship?

We aim to customize this, based on your wishes and the availability of at the organization. So, there are no set starting dates of the traineeship. Get in touch and let’s discuss your starting date.

- Is it possible to apply for a VISA sponsorship?

Unfortunately we don’t provide VISA sponsorships and you need to be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

- How will my assignments be scheduled at various locations?

At the start of your trainee program, we will draw up a rough schedule that will provide you with initial orientation. Subsequent adjustments ,also according to your wished , are ofcourse possible. Your assignment in a specific area will last between 3 to 6 months.

- What happens after my trainee program?

After you fulfilled your traineeship, we would love to proceed your career at Arvato. In a joint exchange with the specialist department, we will find the position in which you will take
