Thesis support group

Are you writing your thesis over the coming months and could you use structure, motivation, and guidance? Then join the Scriptietrein, a thesis support group. Together with a group of 10 students, you’ll work through the thesis process step by step from September to December.

Please note that the programme will be conducted in Dutch.

Programme

• 1 intake meeting
• 5 group sessions (from 8:30 to 10:15) on:

• Monday, 14 September
• Monday, 12 October
• Monday, 2 November
• Monday, 23 November
• Monday, 14 December

Each group session focuses on a specific theme that corresponds to the timeline of your thesis process:

1. reading & exploring
2. from idea to text
3. structure & coherence
4. style & readability
5. incorporating feedback

Each session also includes a check-in: how is your thesis process going? You can share your experiences, ask questions, and discuss ideas with others while exchanging tips and advice.

Requirements

• You are writing a bachelor’s or master’s thesis that you need to submit in December or January.
• You are required to attend all group sessions.

Language

The working language is Dutch. Being able to read and understand Dutch is sufficient; you are also welcome to speak English.
