About the Graduate Development Program

Philips offers an accelerated two-year program designed to support development through a combination of experiences, helping participants grow professionally and build leadership capabilities from the start.

Your assignment:

You will be part of Indirect Procurement within the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) at Philips. Indirect Procurement is responsible for sourcing and managing all indirect (non-product-related) materials and services, such as Marketing, IT, Logistics, Facility management, External Workforce and Travel. Indirect Procurement plays an important role in supporting Philips’ business performance and strategic objectives. As a graduate, you will join a diverse and collaborative team, working closely with stakeholders across the company and gaining exposure to a wide range of procurement activities in a global environment.

Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

  • Support a Category Manager in day-to-day category activities, including conducting market and supplier research, preparing and supporting Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for strategic suppliers, and contributing to supplier relationship management activities and innovation initiatives.
  • Assist in building and maintaining effective supplier relationships, supporting the execution of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies across assigned categories.
  • Take ownership of a dedicated project within a specific category during each rotation, driving defined outcomes and gaining hands-on experience across different areas of Indirect Procurement.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain
  • Maximum 1 years of work experience
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, a customer-first attitude, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager and ambitious
  • Cultural awareness
