“My internship at Heineken introduced me to an exciting and dynamic company that, as someone who had no previous experience in the beverage market, truly is a 160 year old startup. I can say that innovation and technology will be part of your world, 24/7, and the possibilities for learning and development are endless. It all depends on your curiosity and proactiveness!”

Vitor Vassimon

Join HEINEKEN’s Global Digital & Technology team and work at the intersection of Digital, Innovation, and Engineering. In this internship, you’ll help shape the future of the “Connected Outlet” by experimenting with cutting-edge technologies, collaborating globally, and driving real-world digital innovation in bars, events and on-trade environments.

The internship

What you’ll be working on:

  • Support global Connected Outlet initiatives, exploring innovative use cases across markets
  • Identify and collaborate with start-ups and tech partners to test emerging sensor and consumer technologies
  • Drive experimentation cycles (test, learn, iterate) across multiple international markets
  • Contribute to operational coordination and execution of innovation projects

You’ll collaborate with:

  • Global Digital & Technology teams (product, engineering, and innovation)
  • Marketing and commercial teams across HEINEKEN OpCos
  • External partners including start-ups and technology vendors

Your new team and workplace

During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset. At HEINEKEN, we love bringing the outside world in and welcome fresh, new ideas with open arms. Of course, we’ll make sure you get the guidance that suits you.

The Global Digital & Technology team at HEINEKEN focuses on building scalable digital solutions that connect our brands, customers, and outlets worldwide. What makes this a great place for an internship is the level of ownership and exposure: you’ll work on real projects, collaborate globally, and have the freedom to experiment, learn fast, and make a tangible impact from day one.

The unique you!

We believe everyone has unique talents, which is why we’re looking for you! Energy, drive and the ambition to grow are what make the difference at HEINEKEN. In addition, you bring:

  • Curious about digital innovation, technology, and/or marketing, with a willingness to learn
  • A proactive mindset with strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment
