Your role

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll specialise in either SEO or SEA, yet still explore the common mindset, processes, and insights that both areas share. You’ll support campaign creation, content development, and performance optimization while gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of digital marketing activities. You’ll work closely with senior marketers and business development teams to understand how strategy, content, and data come together in a real-world environment

Key Responsibilities

General

  • Conduct keyword and audience research to support both SEO and SEA strategies.
  • Create and update content used across multiple channels, including landing pages, blogs, and social media.
  • Monitor performance metrics and extract insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketers, UX designers, and business developers to align content, targeting, and campaign messaging.
  • Help ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Search Engine Advertising (SEA)

  • Support keyword research, ad copy creation, and campaign setup
  • Assist with bid optimisation, budget adjustments, and audience targeting
  • Improve landing pages to boost conversion rates
  • Review search term reports and apply negative keywords to improve efficiency

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Analyse topic clusters and propose new content ideas
  • Write SEO-optimised content across the full funnel (blogs, guides, landing pages, emails, social posts)
  • Edit and refine existing content to improve clarity and ranking
  • Support on-page optimisation and structural improvements

What we’re looking for

  • You’re currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field (must be enrolled during the internship).
  • You are fluent in English; other languages such as Italian, Spanish, French, German, or Dutch are a plus.
  • You enjoy writing and have strong attention to detail.
  • You have a basic understanding of SEO or SEA, or both (experience is a plus, not a requirement).
  • You’re analytical, organized, and proactive in asking questions.
  • You work well with others and bring a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • You are legally permitted to work in the EU (we cannot offer visa sponsorship).
