Job Description

As a Clinical Specialist, Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGTs), you act as the vital link between innovative image-guided therapy solutions and the clinical teams using them in daily practice. You represent the clinical user to ensure Philips solutions enable high-quality patient care during minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures, while delivering strong clinical and economic value.

Your role

  • Represent the clinical user in the development and introduction of Image Guided Therapy Systems and solutions
  • Define, validate, and safeguard user and clinical requirements for products and solutions
  • Contribute to testing, evaluation, and validation of new functionality in clinical settings, both in-house and with customers
  • Monitor products in the field and support post-market studies to gather clinical evidence on performance and usage
  • Develop clinical education programs together with education specialists for customers and application specialists
  • Create input and content for clinical marketing, training, and sales materials related to clinical value propositions
  • Deliver product demonstrations at customer sites, tradeshows, and clinical events
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, R&D, Clinical Science, Innovation, and market application teams

You will be part of the Clinical Marketing & Education team within the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGTs) business unit at Philips. The IGT Systems organization is responsible for the global marketing, development, and manufacturing of X-ray based image-guided solutions for cardiac and vascular diagnosis and intervention, where Philips is a global market leader.

You’re the right fit if you have the following skills and experience

  • A relevant BSc or MSc degree in Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, or a related clinical/technical field
  • A strong clinical background or hands-on clinical experience in interventional cardiology, radiology, or surgery
  • Experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry (imaging equipment or medical devices preferred)
  • Proven affinity with healthcare technology and product development environments
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize clinical and customer insights into actionable improvements
  • The ability to operate effectively in a complex, high-end technology and global environment
  • A hands-on, pragmatic mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with multidisciplinary and international teams
  • Willingness to travel to customer and clinical sites (approximately 20% of the time)
