What are you going to do?
International Business encourages students to develop into rounded and employable graduates who can take their place confidently as global citizens in the 21st century with an appropriate knowledge base, a deep understanding of its limitations as well as its potential, and a desire to apply and add to new knowledge.
In this inspiring learning environment you facilitate student learning by undertaking teaching activities and supervising and coaching students both individually and in projects.
In your position of lecturer you make an important contribution to educational innovation within the context of competency-based learning.
Team / Department
You will become part of an enthusiastic team of 115 international professionals (academic and administrative), collectively responsible for educating over 2,300 students from both Europe and the rest of the world. IB has an international intake and a global reach. It offers an International Business bachelor programme, comprising the differentiations Marketing, Commerce, Supply Chain and Organization and Change. There is room for personal development and innovation. You won’t be working alone—collaboration is key. You will work closely with colleagues and can always turn to your manager for support and guidance.
In order to carry out the duties effectively, the person appointed is required to have the following skills and experience:
Rotterdam Business School (RBS) brings together all commercial, business, finance, and international business programmes. The business school teaches approximately 13,000 students and employs approximately 750 employees. RBS distinguishes itself in its activities through four key themes: the purpose economy, the digital economy, circularity, and leadership.
