Digital Service Portfolio Manager – Aftersales

At BDR Thermea Group, you will join an international and forward-looking environment within Business Area Aftersales, where digital innovation is rapidly becoming a key driver of service excellence, customer experience, and growth.

You will collaborate closely with global aftersales leaders, commercial and service teams, IT, and digital experts—bridging strategy and execution across multiple regions. This is a highly collaborative role where your ability to bring people together and create momentum will be key.

As Digital Service Portfolio Manager – Aftersales, you define, shape, and scale the global digital service portfolio. You translate strategy into scalable digital propositions that:

  • Enhance customer experience
  • Improve service efficiency
  • Unlock new recurring revenue streams

You act as the bridge between business, product, and technology, ensuring the right initiatives are prioritized, delivered, adopted, and continuously improved. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role—from accelerating adoption of today’s solutions, such as e-commerce, service platforms, and loyalty, to building tomorrow’s digital revenue engines.

Your role is hybrid, based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. We value flexibility and collaboration: you're encouraged to spend at least two days per week in our office while enjoying support for your home office set-up and travel costs. In this role, you will also travel within Europe for approximately 25% of your time.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and manage the global aftersales digital portfolio aligned with strategic priorities
  • Own and drive the vision and roadmap for digital service propositions
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, scalability, and business impact
  • Deliver measurable outcomes: adoption, customer satisfaction, efficiency, and revenue
  • Act as the central connector between aftersales, commercial, digital, and IT stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements for development teams
  • Drive delivery using agile methodologies and ensure high-quality releases
  • Enable rollout and adoption across operating companies, including change management
  • Continuously optimize through data, insights, and user feedback
  • Identify and develop new digital service opportunities, such as remote services and subscriptions

What you bring

  • Senior experience in digital product management or digital transformation, preferably in a service environment
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys and data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Experience working in complex, multi-market environments
  • A pragmatic, outcome-oriented mindset with strong ownership
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and setting clear priorities
