What will you do as a Store Manager?

With a clear vision for the business, you ensure excellent quality and service. Thanks to your leadership skills, everything runs smoothly and you and your team make dozens of customers happy every day. You gain energy from helping customers and motivating your team. As an experienced store manager, you instinctively know what’s needed to achieve the best results and solutions. This way, you realize your sales targets and the personal goals of your team.

You use your expertise, reliability, and sense of service in:

  • Managing the daily operations in the store — always with a customer-oriented approach;
  • Achieving revenue targets, while maintaining the required quality, quantity, and cost levels;
  • Translating strategy and policy into concrete results;
  • Leading and coaching employees to bring out the best in your team.

What do you need?

You run the store with flair and a clear vision — a vision that ensures satisfied customers and enthusiastic employees. Because success is never achieved alone. As a Store Manager, you make optimal use of your team’s expertise and know how to bring out the best in every employee. For this vacancy, you also have:

  • Higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, and preferably an optician’s diploma;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a store manager, branch manager, or location manager in the optical industry or retail;
  • A sharp focus on achieving results — you always want to exceed the expectations of both your customers and your team, working in an analytical and efficient way;
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, representative appearance;
  • A strong dose of stress resistance — it’s a challenging job where you may juggle four things at once, but you keep a cool head;
  • The drive to continuously develop yourself;
  • A command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken, at B1 level;
  • A high degree of flexibility in availability due to our extended opening hours.
