The Digital Consumer Connections Manager defines and drives HEINEKEN’s end-to-end consumer engagement strategy across owned and paid media. You will be leveraging first-party data, MarTech, and advanced analytics to deliver measurable business impact. In addition you ensures effective governance, adoption, and continuous evolution of consumer engagement platforms and capabilities across markets. You act as the critical link between business, marketing, and technology, combining strategic direction with hands-on activation.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Lead the global consumer engagement strategy across owned and paid media, orchestrating end‑to‑end consumer journeys and translating business goals into activation use cases.
  • Activate and scale CDP, first‑party data and marketing automation, including segmentation, audience strategies, personalisation frameworks and identity resolution.
  • Own the consumer engagement MarTech ecosystem and roadmap, ensuring platforms (CDP, CRM, automation tools) are scalable, adopted and delivering value.
  • Define and enforce global governance, standards and best practices, driving consistency, adoption and capability uplift across markets.
  • Manage key technology vendors and agencies, ensuring delivery quality, strategic alignment and leveraging partners for innovation.
  • Ensure privacy‑by‑design and compliance, oversee consent and permission management, and connect all engagement activities to measurable business impact (conversion, LTV, ROI).

Your profile:

You bring a strong mix of digital, data and leadership. You can influence, challenge and inspire senior stakeholders across marketing, commerce and technology. Next to this you also have the experience needed to drive complex digital transformation and build consumer‑centric capabilities. Further you meet most of the following requirements.

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have a minimum of 8 years of experience in digital or consumer engagement. Experience in advanced digital organisations is a plus.
  • You have hands‑on experience in activating consumer journeys, using first‑party data, working with CDP platforms and delivering measurable business results.
  • You understand key MarTech components such as CDP, CRM, marketing automation, identity, analytics and how owned and paid ecosystems work together.
  • You communicate clearly and simply. You can translate complex media, data and technology topics into actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • You bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical, scalable and privacy‑compliant solutions.
