Job purpose

As Digital Marketing Lead BNX, you own the customer experience agenda for the BNX region. Whether you are based in the Netherlands or in Belgium, a regular physical presence will be expected in both countries to ensure smooth collaboration with local Marketing and CD teams. You set the vision, make bold choices on scalable priority projects, and align with our Global CX team to deliver focused, high-impact initiatives in the BNX. This involves making sure we are equipped in BNX region to deliver focused projects in market with clear KPIs, clear data & tech requirements and co-ownership between Global & Local BNX. You’ll lead a team of five digital marketeers across Belgium and the Netherlands to deliver the CX and digital marketing agenda. You thrive in environments where data isn’t always perfect—using creativity, experimentation, and cross-team collaboration to uncover actionable insights. You’ll have the autonomy to test new ideas, pilot digital tools, and influence the digital transformation of a leading foodservice brand.

What will your main responsibilities be?

  • Set the Vision: Develop and communicate a long-term customer experience (CX) vision and digital marketing agenda for UFS BNX, with a clear, actionable roadmap.
  • Prioritize Impact: Make bold, data-informed choices on digital touchpoints (website, webshop, META, SEA) and trade partner platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and develop a high-performing team of digital marketeers across Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Champion CX: Be the ambassador for the BNX CX and digital marketing strategy within Unilever and across external foodservice networks.
  • Drive Accountability: Ensure BNX and Global team deliver jointly on the BNX CX agenda, with clear KPIs and shared ownership.

Skills you should have

  • Passion for foodservice and a “foodie” mindset
  • >5 years experience in digital marketing, ideally in B2B
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Adobe Analytics)
  • Experience integrating on- and offline touchpoints into seamless customer journeys (META, SEA, SEO)
  • Line and team management experience
  • Proven success in senior stakeholder management within a matrix organization
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across cultures and functions
  • Fluent in English
