We are looking for a highly motivated and process-oriented Instrument Service Logistics Specialist to join our Instrument Service Team at our distribution center located in Hoofddorp.

In this Role:

As an Instruments Service Logistics Specialist, you will support the input and output activities associated with the Instrument Service business and work areas. Activities include daily and routine shipping and receiving of IDEXX instruments and spare parts, tracking all incoming and repaired material, assuring system (SAP) and operational readiness for the repair of instruments, coordinating all failure analysis and reports within IDEXX.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

As we are an international team with multinational culture, your ability in reading and interpreting documents written in English (safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals) and effective communication skills are a must. We expect you to be able to work independently, while being able to identify & escalate difficult issues when assistance is needed.

  • You will have good computer skills, SAP and MS Office strongly desired
  • You will have good communication skills and be able to communicate in English with team members and internal customers
  • You will have the ability to read and interpret documents
  • You will have the ability to independently assess obstacles to completing a job
  • You will have the ability to identify concerns in process or safety
  • You will have basic math skills and the ability to work with units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Experience in logistics is preferred but not essential
  • Physical activity is a real part of this function and you will have to lift packages and machines up to 30 kilo’s.
