Your job

As Domain Expert III, you play a key role in ABN AMRO’s capital management. You oversee capital optimization and planning, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a solid framework for capital management. Your work directly contributes to the resilience of our bank and the success of our clients.

• Second line oversight on Capital Optimization strategies (i.e. SRT and CDS) and Strategic Capital allocations
• Second line oversight on Capital Planning and Capital metrics forecasting
• RAS setting for Capital Risk and Pricing
• Capital Risk assessments on new business proposals and activities
• Develop and improve a capital management framework

Working environment

You’ll be part of a team of eight skilled and committed colleagues within the Capital Risk department. Together, your team is hands-on, collaborative, and focused on achieving results. You’ll report directly to the Head of Capital Risk and work closely with colleagues from Risk Management, Finance, and the Client Units. Your profile

We’re looking for a colleague who is both analytically strong and a team player. You have an innovative mindset, work purposefully, and know how to inspire others. In complex situations, you remain calm and focused, with an eye for detail. You don’t need to meet all the hard requirements – your unique skills and experience might be what sets you apart.

Additionally, you bring:

• A university degree in Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 4-8 years of experience in risk management or a similar role within a banking environment.
• Experience working in a complex, international matrix organization.
• Knowledge of sectors, products, and relevant (prudential) regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of risk management processes, including governance, control, and reporting.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

We are offering

• Benefit budget of 11% of your salary, allowing you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month
