Accounting Expert e-Payments (m/f/d)

We are hiring an Accounting Expert e-Payments (m/f/d) to play a key role in ensuring smooth, transparent, and reliable payment flows across our webshops and marketplace platform.

About the role

As Accounting Expert e-Payments, you monitor, analyze, and optimize daily incoming e-payment transactions across multiple payment methods and make sure that financial data is accurate, reconciled, and properly reflected in our systems.

Working closely with Accounting, Tech & IT, Platform Operations, and external Payment Service Providers, you act as a central interface for all payment-related topics. Together with the Senior Payment Process Analyst, you continuously improve our payment processes and support the implementation of new payment solutions and system enhancements.

Your mission: safeguard financial integrity while driving efficiency and scalability in our e-payment landscape.

Your tasks

• Monitor and analyze daily incoming payment transactions across multiple payment methods
• Reconcile payment data, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate booking in our financial systems
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities within existing payment processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Tech & IT, Platform Operations, and external Payment Service Providers
• Prepare reports and KPI analyses to create transparency and actionable insights into our e-payment performance
• Support the implementation of new payment methods, process improvements, and system changes

About you

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Professional experience in Finance or Accounting; experience in e-payment processing is a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented way of working
• Confidence in handling large data volumes and solid Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
