Your job

You will work in your own DevOps block on developing and maintaining good quality and future proof IT solutions. This includes: educating yourself with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations; actively participating in knowledge gaining and sharing by joining communities and events; focusing on proper knowledge dissemination across the teams, pushing the limits of our technology and focusing on holistic solutions. You make sure your code is safe, secure and working. You are open to feedback on your code and open to learn from peers. And last but not least: finding solutions to new challenges.

You will be part of the scrum team Generic Signing. Generic Signing 2.0 is offering a set of services which provides a Signing Solution. At present, GS 2.0 provides its consumers a Payment Transaction Solution which includes Internet Banking (Business) and Access Online transactions. In the near future, we will support Private Banking International signing for Belgium and also Non-Financial Transactions and Document Signing.

Your profile

You feel at home in a technical environment and are always up to date on the latest technologies. You love working on (Java) technologies to find the best IT solutions. Do you think you're a fit? Check your profile:

Must haves:

• At least 5+ years of developing software in Java, preferably with Java 17
• At least 3+ years of proven experience in developing microservices
• Hands-on experience with Spring and/or Spring Boot and some of these frameworks/technologies: JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, consuming SOAP services and REST APIs
• At least 3+ years of experience with CI tools such as Sonarqube, Fortify and Nexus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Required soft-skills:

• You are open; you give and accept direct feedback
• You have a focus on quality and challenge your colleagues (e.g. during peer reviews)
• You speak up and challenge decisions (you ask why things are done instead of just doing them)

Nice to haves:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch
• A relevant degree in Computer/Information Science
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps and security frameworks
