Adyen is looking for a Senior Strategic Finance Business Partner to join the Strategic Finance team within Group Finance. Our team is organized across regions and global commercial strategy teams. As a Strategic Finance Business Partner you will be a key partner working with our commercial strategy teams and other stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support (long-term) strategic planning and decision-making. The Strategic Finance team has a global presence in the United States, Singapore, Brazil and Amsterdam. This role is a full-time position in Amsterdam and reports into the Team Lead of Strategic Finance.

What you’ll do

• Build strong collaborative relationships with (commercial) leadership in the business to define and drive financial strategy, aligned with Adyen’s long-term growth drivers;
• Lead complex financial analysis to assess investments, strategic initiatives, go-to-market decisions and business cases, translating data into executive-level insights;
• Provide critical challenge and thought partnership on high-impact commercial decisions, ensuring robust and balanced trade-off evaluation;
• Act as a connective tissue between globally based commercial teams and Amsterdam-based Finance, by driving alignment across time zones and functions.

Who you are

• 8-10 years of experience in Strategic Finance, Commercial Finance, Strategy Consulting or similar, ideally in high-growth, global technology or fintech environment
• A strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to seamlessly balance long-term strategic vision with effective short-term execution in a complex, dynamic and evolving business landscape
• Proven ability to operate as a senior business partner to commercial leadership, with strong commercial instinct and financial judgment
• Exceptional analytical capability, with a track record of simplifying complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior, cross-functional, and multicultural teams
• Hands-on, self-starting, and entrepreneurial, excited to build, shape, and scale

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
