Tiktok Social Media Specialist

As our new Social Media Specialist, you’ll be managing our TikTok channel with support from the team and facilitating the channel growth & best-in-class content for our most playful & strategic channel. You will work daily with our internal and external creative agencies to create an overarching strategy, monthly campaign briefs, manage go-live delivery and create detailed reporting to optimize for the future. You will also be shooting and editing social-first content to supplement channel(s) agile content needs outside of monthly productions.

Our goal is to grow our digital presence, reach new target audiences and expand our Rituals wellbeing community. Part social media expert, part content creator and part project manager, you’ll need to bring a creative flair and go-getter attitude to convert our commercial calendar into a consumer-centric forum for our community to engage and thrive.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, manage, and execute the handling of our TikTok channel.
  • Brief and manage our internal and external agencies on the content strategy, so they can create and deliver assets up to platform and brand standards.
  • Shoot & edit own concepts for TikTok and wider social channels.
  • Manage internal stakeholders to get input and final sign-off.
  • Bring innovative ideas to build communities and shape our TikTok narrative.
  • Track and analyze performance to create applicable KPIs and have a goal and solution oriented approach.
  • Monitor and maintain a strong understanding of current developments, trends, and competitors.

To be successful in this role, you:

  • Have 2 to 3 years of working experience specializing in TikTok or Instagram – either at an agency or in-house.
  • Love spending time on social for creative inspiration and can quickly turn cultural relevant moments into a win for the brand.
  • Experience shooting & editing with an iPhone (a digital camera is a plus), and uses Adobe Premier Pro & Photoshop.
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing successful organic social media strategies.
  • Have experience managing creative projects and know the depth of detail that goes into the process.
  • As much as you are creative your also organised and can manage multiple projects on the go.
