Business Support Officer

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing is part of Eurofins Scientific and is the largest Dutch contract laboratory for the pharmaceutical industry. We specialize in analytical tests for (bio)pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates and (bio)pharmaceutical products, performing a diverse range of analyses for national and international clients within the (bio)pharmaceutical industry.

This position is open within the Business Unit NBLSC (National Business Line Service Centre), part of Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing. You will join a professional team with a mix of young and experienced colleagues from different backgrounds. Job Description

In this junior function as a Business Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients and assist in customer support. Working closely with Account Managers/Business Development Managers and technical subject-matter experts (SMEs), you create qualitative quotations and different client-facing materials. The role also involves contributing to projects that enhance Business Support processes and strengthen collaboration with various stakeholders.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for (potential) clients.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers/Account Managers and technical SMEs.
• Prepare quotations.
• Maintain and continuously improve quotation templates and client-facing materials.
• Keep client and commercial data up to date and troubleshoot issues in the CRM and LIMS systems.
• Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing workflows and Business Support processes.

Qualifications

This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, collaborates well within a team, engages comfortably with diverse stakeholders, and works confidently across several systems.

We are looking for:

• HBO-Bachelor in Life Sciences or related fields.
• Starter or junior level with 0–2 years of experience.
• Knowledge and interest in molecular biology, (bio)chemistry, organic chemistry and/or analytical chemistry.
• Strong interest in a business environment, capable and eager to combine both scientific and business skills.
• Experience or ability to work with complex systems, such as LIMS systems.
• Capable of communicating with different stakeholders within the company and with customers.
• Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent organizer with good time management skills.
• Able to work in a team and closely collaborate daily on multiple group projects.
• Proactive and willing to take action in front of complex situations to promote resolution.
• Required proficiency in English; Dutch language is an asset.
