The team | Loyalty | Daily Banking & Mobile Led

Role and responsibilities

In this role as Product Manager – Beyond Banking (Connectivity & Travel Ecosystem), you will own a portfolio of propositions focused on mobility, connectivity, and travel-related customer value.

Your initial scope includes:

  • eSIM and digital connectivity services
  • Travel-related beyond banking benefits
  • Airport lounge access
  • Other mobility and travel-oriented value propositions

As the beyond banking portfolio expands, additional ecosystem propositions may be added to your scope in the (near) future.

You will be responsible for designing seamless customer journeys that integrate travel, connectivity, and experiential value into ING’s retail ecosystem.

End-to-End Journey Ownership

  • Create and optimize customer journeys for connectivity and travel-related benefits
  • Ensure frictionless activation, international usability, and scalable onboarding
  • Improve cross-channel integration with banking propositions

Product Ownership

  • Act as Product Owner for connectivity and travel-related verticals
  • Contribute to roadmap creation, prioritization, and enhancements in close collaboration with Delivery and IT
  • Translate ecosystem complexity (partners, integrations, compliance) into clear product requirements

Country Enablement

  • Act as main point of contact for countries implementing travel and connectivity benefits
  • Manage intra-company alignment and expectations
  • Support local launches and scaling efforts

Ecosystem Expansion

  • Identify opportunities to expand ING’s travel and mobility ecosystem
  • Contribute to future propositions within connectivity, international usage, and partner integrations

How to succeed

As Product Manager, you have:

  • 5+ years in Product Owner / Product Management / Digital Product roles
  • Experience with connectivity, telco, digital services, travel, or ecosystem platforms is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working with partner integrations and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently
