Developing predictive maintenance solutions requires a lot of complex steps that are typically executed manually. This ranges from initial data analysis and feasibility studies to the software development needed to bring a solution to a product. With the advent of Generative AI, the possibilities of automating this process could have a huge impact on the speed at which these solutions can be developed. As market demand for predictive maintenance within the distribution domain is high, this could significantly help us get to market sooner.
The challenge is that the development process consists of many different types of tasks that require their own context and tooling. The main question of this assignment is to identify which steps are already suitable for automation and what would it require to apply them in our development process?
The intern will be part of the digital service department within the Distribution domain. This department is responsible for developing the digital services that help our customers to make optimal use their systems. The intern will be part of the predictive maintenance team and will collaborate with the data engineers, data scientists, frontend developers within the team, as well as the stakeholders and subject matter experts.
