Account Receivable Specialist

Financial operations are at the core of our business. We need an AR Specialist to take ownership of our Accounts Receivable process and drive improvements in efficiency and accuracy. From streamlining invoicing to automating collections, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth financial systems that enable us to focus on our mission at scale. What you’ll bring

• Experience in the accounting field of at least 3 years
• A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g. Accounting and Controlling)
• Good knowledge of common accounting standards

Dutch GAAP is nice to have

• Understanding of invoicing workflows, including the use of Salesforce (for tracking) and Exact (for booking) transactions and payments
• Experience with month-end financial tasks, including preparing and sending POs for trainers, revenue verification, and financial checks
• Precision in handling financial records, performing checks, and managing multiple financial tasks
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including sending reminders and reporting on financial matters
• Can-do attitude & curiosity: a passion to make things happen and better!

Your first-year achievements

• Help automate and streamline the AR process
• Identify and implement strategies to improve client payment cycles and proactively work with the commercial and legal teams to ensure our clients pay on time by keeping 60+ days debtors to a minimum
• Collect and analyze financial data to prepare clear and reliable monthly metrics, ensuring informed decision-making for key stakeholders across the organization
• Efficiently use Salesforce to gather client information and Exact for invoicing and accounting bookings, ensuring data accuracy and seamless integration between systems
• Conduct detailed margin analysis, assess client profitability, and provide insightful reports to support the company’s financial health and decision-making processes
