Bachelor / Master Intership: Management Accounting department

This internship involves assisting the Management Accounting department and improving processes concerning various topics.

Functiebeschrijving

As an intern (Dutch: meewerk-stagiair(e)) in the Management Accounting department you are responsible for:

• Assisting the financial analysts of the department in the daily work;
• Assisting in the preparation of the weekly and monthly management reporting;
• Performing access review of different systems used within the department and advising on improvements;
• Assisting in the replacement of the system in which the RVG contracts are created.

Jouw profiel

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar
• Since we are looking for candidates who assist in the department (“meewerkstage”), graduation theses might not fit.
• Language skills: Good communication skills (writing and speaking) in English and Dutch are required
• Competencies: Knowledge of MS Excel and SQL (basic)
• You are available in the second half of 2026

Afdeling

The Management Accounting department (consisting of 4 people) is part of the DAF Finance and Control (F&C) organization at DAF Trucks N.V. The Management Accounting department is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly analyzing and reporting of financial figures for decision making at senior management level. Subjects are analyzing and reporting of Truck margins, RVG (Residual Value Guarantee) and Order Intake.

The Finance & Control Department of DAF Trucks is located in Eindhoven, with local finance teams in Westerlo (Belgium), Leyland (UK) and in its European sales subsidiary offices. Over 200 financial professionals are responsible for timely and accurate reporting of DAF’s financial results, using efficient accounting processes, which are based on robust systems and strong internal controls.
