Project Assistant (FGIII)

The EIT is organising a call for expressions of interest with a view to establishing a reserve list for Contract Staff (CA) for the profile of Project Assistant. The place of employment will be Budapest, where the EIT seat is located.

The Project Assistant will be responsible for contributing to the implementation and development of Knowledge Innovation Communities (KICs) of the EIT, notably in the area of effective and efficient grant management, in line with the strategic objectives set in the EIT’s Strategic Innovation Agenda and Single Programming Document.

Tasks

  • Assist in project/programme management including planning, monitoring, evaluation, project closure and post project activities;
  • Support the Officers in financial and/or operational management, including assistance in procurement and/or grant procedures and/or expert management processes, implementation of contracts, operational initiation and reporting;
  • Support the management and monitoring of grants to the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs);
  • Support the management and monitoring of grants through data analysis and business intelligence;
  • Contribute to the data management and improvement of the EIT Grant management system and monitoring tools;
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of databases and processes related to grant management.

The jobholder may be asked to carry out any other tasks as deemed necessary in the interest of the service.
