At Eneco, we're on a mission to be climate neutral by 2035, not just for ourselves, but for all our customers. Digital innovation plays a key role in achieving this, and our Analytics Platform team is at the heart of that effort. We aim to empower the organization to become truly data- and metric-driven, helping teams measure their impact through actionable KPIs, integrated into our OKR framework.
To support this, we're looking for a Data Analyst who’s passionate about enabling data-informed decisions across the business. While Power BI is our current visualization platform, we're focused on future-proofing our data landscape and are exploring more scalable and code-first analytics solutions. This is an opportunity to help shape that evolution.

Turn OKRs and KPIs into trusted, standardized metrics that power decisions across the entire organization
Empower teams with the tools, governance, and knowledge to make smarter, faster decisions.
As a Data Analyst in the Analytics Platform Team, you will be a key enabler of data-driven decision-making across Eneco and Oxxio. Your role goes beyond dashboards; you will help drive consistency and clarity in how we measure business outcomes and create reusable, scalable analytics capabilities.
While you will support our existing Power BI infrastructure, your focus will be on building a future-ready analytics environment. You’ll work closely with data professionals, product teams, and business stakeholders to align metrics to our OKRs, improve accessibility to trusted insights, and make sure analytics tools and processes evolve alongside our ambitions.
You are an forward-looking Data Analyst who sees tools like Power BI as enablers — not end goals. Someone who wants to help Eneco evolve toward a mature, scalable, and metrics-focused analytics practice. A team player who enjoys empowering others and contributing to an enterprise-wide transformation.
Must Have:
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to building KPI- and OKR-driven reporting.
Experience using Power BI in a professional environment.
Understanding of data modeling and performance optimization for analytics products.
Experience in supporting and enabling others with reporting and data literacy.
Solid communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Worked with dbt or similar data modeling tools.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Power BI Premium, and familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Azure.
Understanding of CI/CD and automation for BI tools (e.g., PowerShell, REST APIs).
Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Looker) or BI-as-code environments.
Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban settings.
Dutch language skills.
Contributing to the future direction of our analytics platform, including the exploration of BI-as-code or alternative visualization tools.
Enabling the organization to become more metric- and KPI-driven by designing and maintaining centralized data models, semantic layers, and reporting standards that ensure consistent, governed metric definitions across teams and tooling.
Owning the governance, administration, and continuous improvement of our BI platform, including capacity, workspace permissions, gateways, and performance, while serving as the primary point of contact for platform-related questions across the organization.
Collaborating with Data Engineering, IT, and other teams to ensure BI and analytics solutions are aligned with the broader data infrastructure and built to be scalable and reusable.
Engaging stakeholders across product, brand, IT, and external partners to gather requirements, advise on tooling decisions, and drive adoption of analytics capabilities.
Enabling teams across the organization to work more effectively with data by driving the adoption of analytics capabilities and best practices through training, documentation, and workshops.
You’ll be part of the Analytics Platform team, working closely with data engineers and data analysts who build and maintain foundational capabilities for the entire Eneco organization. The team ensures consistency in tooling and best practices while fostering a strong learning culture.
You’ll also be part of the broader Eneco Data Analytics community, where we support each other’s growth and collaborate across value streams to create business impact.
