Procurement Officer (FG IV)

The EIT is organising a call for expressions of interest with a view to establishing a reserve list for Contract Staff (CA) for the profile of Procurement Officer. The place of employment will be Budapest, where the EIT seat is located.

Reporting to the Head of Services and Finance Unit (Procurement and Legal Section) of the EIT, the Procurement Officer contributes to the effective implementation of the EIT’s Annual Work Programme by developing a procurement strategy and transposing it to the procurement plan. The Procurement Officer provides advice and training to operational units, adapts procurement procedures to the needs of the EIT and ensures that procurement procedures and contracts are legally sound (carries out ex-ante control).
