Electrical Test Engineer

The EMEIA Division is looking for an Electronics Test Engineer (Mid or Senior) for its Digital and Access Solutions (DAS) business to implement and help secure high quality and end-to-end system robustness for connected devices within the EMEIA division.

What you will do

You will play a vital role defining and implementing the next generation of digital door locks. You will be engaged from the conception phase of new products, through production, until the end of life of the product.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design engineers from concept to production to ensure product quality throughout the whole life span
• Develop and design test plans and procedures to validate electronic components and systems
• Set up and conduct tests according to specifications and standards
• Analyse test results to identify performance trends, failures, or areas for improvement
• Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders based on test outcomes
• Manage/participate in certification of the product

The skills and experience you need

• Open and curious mindset, out-of-the-box thinking, passionate, driven, goal oriented
• Passion for testing, technology, and innovation, combined with an interest in consulting and supporting others
• Good team player who understands the importance of meeting deadlines and thrives in a busy, challenging environment
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English
• Able to occasionally travel across the EU and other ASSA ABLOY regions
• Experience in electronic engineering/testing
• Experience in certification testing, working with standards and norms
• Programming experience in Python or similar is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Desirable: RF experience
