As our Procurement Specialist, you’ll ensure bunq partners with the best vendors while maintaining commercial control, reducing risk, and enabling teams to move fast. 🚀

Take ownership

• Build user-first, scalable procurement that helps teams source the right partners while keeping processes clear, consistent, and transparent ⚡

• Reduce vendor risk and lock-in by negotiating flexible contracts, structuring resilient partnerships, and ensuring strong exit strategies 🔐

• Create spend transparency and commercial control so procurement decisions are data-driven and aligned with bunq’s OKRs 📊

• Source and manage strategic vendors across tech, SaaS, cloud, and payments, ensuring they deliver real value to Eva 🤝

• Maintain a clear, trackable procurement process in GitLab, aligning Tech, Product, and Finance around the same commercial goals 🧩

This challenge is perfect for you if

• You’re fluent in English

• You have experience managing complex vendor ecosystems (tech, SaaS, cloud, payments, or regulated environments)

• You’re strong in commercial negotiations — pricing models, SLAs, exit clauses, and scalable contracts 💼

• You understand third-party risk, outsourcing, and operational resilience

• You’re comfortable working with engineering, product, and finance teams

• You think user-first and optimize for long-term value, not just short-term savings 💡

• You can zoom out to strategy and zoom in to details — contracts, clauses, and numbers

• You challenge stakeholders constructively while keeping delivery moving 🚀
