Delegate Process Owner Configuration Management

You & your role

As a Delegate Process Owner, you are responsible to define and maintain process standards, support implementation and usage of these standards and control compliance to them. Your main stakeholders are all Rabobank IT teams using the process, globally, as well as internal and external regulators controlling the process. You work very closely with the Product Owners of the tools that support the process. You will be the centre of this wide global community, for all process-related challenges, decisions and questions. In doing so, you align with the formal Process Owner at MT level when needed.

To do this job well, you need to be familiar with IT Service Management processes and standards and you need to have a global understanding of IT technology, -development and -operations to be able to understand use cases of your stakeholders. But above all, you must be able to control a wide area of many aspects and stakeholders. Strong communication- and documentation skills are essential.

Top responsibilites

1. Define and maintain process standards:

  • Continuously update/improve the process to align with new ways of working, regulations and requirements, or fix issues.
  • Align process updates with global stakeholders (users, management, regulators, tool owners, etc. globally).

2. Process documentation and support/consultancy:

  • Provide and maintain process documentation and working instructions.
  • Give process presentations upon request, in different situations.
  • Support/advise process stakeholders, answering both operational and strategical questions and advising on how to apply the process in specific use cases.

3. Process compliance:

  • Maintain global process policies.
  • Verify process design and -implementation to be compliant with process policies.
  • Verify process operations to comply with process policies and design.
  • Initiate action to mitigate incompliances when needed.

4. Process audit:

  • First and main contact to internal and external audit/regulators, in explaining process design, answering questions, providing reports and evidence on process compliance, delivering impact analysis for incompliances, etc.
  • Participate in yearly control cycles for R-IC, SAM, ITQ, and other control frameworks, as well as ad hoc inspections such as from ECB.
  • Prepare and implement Action Plans for any Findings resulting from the above.

You & your talent

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Global knowledge of IT Service Management principles, processes and tooling.
  • Global knowledge of IT technology, -development and -operations.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Rabobank organization, culture and ways of working (S@S, Agile DevOps, etc).

Preferred Skills:

  • Analytic, well-structured and organized, being able to manage a wide global playing field with many stakeholders, use-cases, perspectives and topics in a consistent way.
  • Strong communication skills in documenting, explaining, presenting and discussing process-relates issues and requirements at different levels, from operations to senior management. Fluency in English is a must, Dutch is preferred.
  • Strong customer focus, being able to understand stakeholder questions, issues and requirements and translate these to answers and solutions, together with Business Analysts and Solution Engineers of associated teams.
  • Ownership. As a delegate process owner, you own the process. You listen to your stakeholders and take their wishes seriously, but you always remain in charge of your area of responsibility. You are pro-active and self-steering when needed.
