At a glance

As a Quantitative Analyst in the Strategic & Regulatory Change team, you will play a supporting role in guiding important decisions for the bank. You will help analyze data, uncover patterns, and turn them into clear advice for senior stakeholders. Working closely with experienced team members, you will contribute to projects that shape the future of Finance & Risk.

The team defines and shares strategic direction across Finance & Risk, collaborating with key stakeholders and senior management. Your role is to support these efforts with data, analysis, and evidence, while learning from experts and building your skills.

Your job

Your work will include:

  • Turning complex data and insights into simple, straightforward conclusions through storytelling
  • Working with colleagues across data, architecture, reporting, and Finance & Risk goals to contribute to end-to-end strategy
  • Identifying opportunities where AI can be applied to improve processes and support innovation
  • Acting as an internal consultant by supporting the team in shaping strategic decisions
  • Creating professional presentations for senior leaders
  • Assisting in major programs focused on realizing the new strategy of the bank
  • Preparing clear updates and recommendations for management

Your first-year goals:

  • Become the go-to data analyst and a trusted member of the team
  • Work across teams to gather information for the 2027–28 strategy
  • Deliver clear, data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making
  • Contribute to shaping end-to-end strategy across data, architecture, and reporting tools
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for efficiency and innovation in Finance & Risk

Working environment

You will report to Bob Pijl, Strategic Regulatory Change, and work alongside a team that collaborates with:

  • Finance & Risk Business and IT teams
  • Senior stakeholders across the organization

Your profile

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, consultancy, or similar work
  • A Master’s degree in Econometrics or a PhD in a STEM field
  • Strong skills in Python, SQL, and communication
  • Experience in the financial sector
  • Professional English
