The world’s cities are changing. New technologies, business models, and global sustainability goals are transforming our cities and how we move. The transport industry needs a new generation of graduates who can spur and manage innovation. The EIT Urban Mobility Master School, in cooperation with leading European universities, industry, and cities, offers a unique international two-year programme.
The Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions programme prepares students to become the next generation of urban innovators and leaders. It equips urban planners and transport engineers with the skills to create resource-efficient, low-carbon, and healthy cities, while developing interdisciplinary competencies and entrepreneurial skills needed to turn innovative solutions into practice.

Who Can Apply?
The Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions programme welcomes students with an array of backgrounds and experiences. The programme is ideal for students with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Geoinformation Technology, Urban Planning, Geography and/or Economics. Additional disciplines are welcome, provided students have a solid foundation in quantitative problem-solving and verifiable experience in Programming, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Mathematical Statistics.

Students may apply to start and end the programme at the universities below. Students must attend a different university for year one and year two. The available universities for the Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions programme are:
Upon graduation, students will receive a separate, official diploma from each university they attend, reflecting the specific programme and track completed. Each diploma formally recognises the degree obtained at the respective institution and may include translations or additional details in multiple languages, ensuring full international recognition of the student’s achievements.
