Shape the Future of EU Borders: Join Frontex Industry Week 2026

Frontex invites industry leaders to a week of dialogue and technological discovery. On 11-15 May 2026, join our virtual forum to pitch your innovations directly to European Border and Coast Guard experts and present how your solutions may power the next generation of European border security capabilities.

This event offers themed segments to allow focus and targeted engagement with Frontex experts and Member States' border authorities.

Where do you fit in?

1. General Border Innovation (Mon 11, Thu 14, Fri 15 May 2026)

We are scouting for cutting-edge cross-domain solutions, including:

2. Digital Solutions for Reintegration Assistance (Tue, 12 May 2026)

Frontex is inviting financial services providers and fintech companies to present digital payment solutions capable of supporting the delivery of cash-based reintegration assistance in third countries.

  • Integrated digital payments: Enable secure digital disbursement of reintegration assistance in third countries, through multiple channels (mobile money, pre-paid cards, digital wallets, vouchers).
  • Data collection and management: Aggregate and manage beneficiary data (e.g. identity, assistance needs, payment information) through integrated digital platforms.
  • High volume scalability and accessibility: Operate at scale, supporting high transaction volumes across multiple countries, including fragile and remote environments.
  • Reliable and robust financial systems: Provide accessible payment mechanisms, including options for offline or low-connectivity environments.
  • Transaction safety: Ensure fraud prevention, transparency and traceability for large-scale financial transfers.

3. Travel Services Management (Wed 13 May 2026)

Innovative travel management solutions for returns by scheduled flights:

  • Advanced online ICT tools for corporate booking & ticketing
  • Seamless integration with FAR/IRMA (API, real-time data exchange)

  • Scalable, customisable solutions for high-volume operations

Why Present Your Solutions?

Each day features high-visibility slots designed for impact:

  • Expert Pitching: 30-minute slots (including Q&A) to showcase your solution to key stakeholders.
  • Networking: Direct exchanges with Frontex specialists and national border experts.
  • Strategic Visibility: This initiative serves as a primary market-scanning tool, potentially informing future Requests For Information, pilots, and procurement materials.

Selection Process & Compliance

  • Evaluation: Frontex will review all submissions based on innovation, operational relevance, and technological maturity.
  • Compliance: All solutions must demonstrate strict adherence to human rights, data protection, and ethical frameworks.
  • Notification: Selected providers will be assigned a 30-minute spotlight slot (presentation + Q&A).
