You & your future

As an intern in the CITO Resource Office, you’ll be part of the team behind the onboarding of all external staff within the entire CITO department of Rabobank. This means you’ll be right in the middle of a fast‑moving, highly collaborative environment where your ideas and improvements truly make a difference.

Whether you want to improve processes, work with different stakeholders, or help streamline the journey from hiring to onboarding — this internship gives you the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow.

During this internship, you will work on your career at Rabobank. You do this by working in a team of 7 colleagues, joining their daily work by performing administrative tasks within different IT systems, while analysing what can be done easier, faster, better. These insights can also be gained by interviewing colleagues or internal (hiring managers) and external customers of this process (new external staff) applying lean methodologies.

During your internship, you can expect to:

  • Get hands-on experience within the CITO Resource Office: work together in a supportive team, learn how to hand over tasks, communicate effectively, and process information accurately.
  • Analyze and improve core processes: help make the entire journey — from the moment a manager wants to hire external staff to the moment the new colleague receives their laptop — smoother, faster, and more efficient.
  • Spot bottlenecks and improve timelines: research throughput times, identify delays, and recommend ways to create a better onboarding experience for everyone involved.

You & your talent

  • Study background in the area of business administration, management, process management, human resource management.
  • Process analysis – ability to understand workflows and spot opportunities for improvement
  • Microsoft Excel / data handling – comfortable working with numbers, lists, or reports
  • Documentation skills – capable of writing clear procedures and structured overviews
  • Communication – you can connect with different stakeholders clearly and professionally
  • Proactive mindset – you see what needs to be done and take initiative
  • Accuracy & attention to detail – onboarding relies on correct information, so precision matters
