Senior Business Controller – Wholesale & Travel

We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to act as the strategic finance partner for our Wholesale & Travel business. In this role, you translate commercial ambitions, (omnichannel) growth and market dynamics into forecasting, business cases and actionable insights. You challenge and support senior stakeholders with sharp analysis and a clear point of view. Combining strong business partnering with deep analytical expertise, you strengthen performance management across Wholesale & Travel. You build scalable planning and reporting processes that drive topline growth, margin improvement and sustainable profitability.

You will be part of the central Control & Analytics team in Amsterdam and report to the Head of Line of Business Control.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a solid business partner of our global Wholesale & Travel team with a leading role in planning, analysis and reporting in close coordination with Market Control.
  • Master the financials from (Omni) Consumer Sales & KPI's up to EBITDA and CAPEX.
  • Improve insights by developing new standards for Wholesale & Travel topline forecasting and profitability.
  • Build robust business cases and scenario analyses to support and challenge strategic choices (e.g., channel/partner investments, growth initiatives, new programs).
  • Provide support with executive presentations during Plan & Control cycle for LoB and Group Control.
  • Enhance our central omnichannel analytics capability by defining KPI frameworks, build/steer dashboards and leveraging AI and advanced analytics.
  • Drive continuous improvement by contributing to standardization, simplification and automation initiatives that improve data quality, speed of insights and decision-making across Wholesale & Travel.

Bring all of you

  • Master’s degree in business economics related fields.
  • Approx. 6 years of experience as a Business Controller, preferably with experience as a Wholesale Controller in a Wholesale / B2B environment.
  • Work experience within Wholesale/B2B or Retail within a commercial environment is a pre.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey, in a simple way, complex financial and data insights to non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Ability to manage and adapt to change, whether it’s new processes, technologies, organizational restructuring, or shifts in market dynamics.
  • Strong English and Dutch verbal and written language skills are required.
