At Nedap Livestock, you will be working on technology that makes a difference in dairy farming worldwide. As Product Owner of Nedap Now, our cloud platform that processes millions of messages from dairy farms around the world every day, you will play a key role in the further development of this platform.

In collaboration with the scrum master, you will ensure that the three cloud teams can work independently and efficiently, without losing sight of the bigger picture. You will be responsible for the product and the collaboration between the teams, organise the backlog, coordinate priorities and keep the course on track. You will work closely with UX and Product Specialists to devise new features and prepare specifications.

What are you going to do?

Product vision and roadmap

In collaboration with various stakeholders, including the solution owner and product specialist, you translate strategy into a clear product vision and roadmap and monitor progress.

Point of contact for the teams

As Product Owner, you represent the product. You are available to the teams for all kinds of questions and provide them with input or an opinion.

Coordination Nedap Now

You are the link between the three teams and ensure clear coordination and cooperation.

Prioritisation

Prioritising initiatives and translating them into a clear backlog.

Stakeholder management

Collecting relevant input from internal and external stakeholders to represent wishes, manage expectations and make informed choices in the roadmap.

Agile

Applying agile thinking based on the Agile Way of Working and promoting it in product development and teamwork.

Your team

Nedap Now is the cloud application in which we process data from our sensors and then present it to end users (farmers). The aim is to improve life on the farm with these insights. An easy-to-use user interface is of great importance. Our customers experience our platform as user-friendly; that is exactly what we stand for.

In addition, all Product Owners and Product & Portfolio Managers are represented in the Product Leadership Team. The aim of this team is to coordinate priorities across multiple development teams. Roadmap themes are discussed here and you also contribute cross-team initiatives yourself.

You are also part of the broader Product Owner discipline within Nedap in Livestock. This means sparring with fellow POs, testing ideas and continuously working together to improve craftsmanship in the PO discipline. So you are never alone, even though you play a central role in the whole.

As Product Owner at Nedap Now, you maintain an overview and an eye for detail. You switch easily between three teams, set priorities and monitor progress. You work closely with the CowControl team, maintain momentum in implementation and opt for pragmatic solutions that deliver value — even if the ideal route is not yet possible. You are entrepreneurial, resilient and team-oriented. You take informal leadership and know how to get people on board through clear communication and pleasant cooperation.

You also recognise yourself in the following:

• Work experience: You have several years of experience as a Product Owner and are used to managing software teams in a product-oriented manner.
• Stakeholder management and value maximisation: You have experience in managing stakeholders and actively focus on product value and prioritisation.
• Technical affinity: You have an affinity with technology, possess technical insight and know how to maintain an overview in a complex technical landscape.
• Supervising external projects (pre): Experience in outsourcing work or supervising external parties is an advantage.
• Language skills: You have a good command of Dutch and English.

Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours per week. Hybrid (remote) working is common at Nedap, and you and your team coordinate your working hours to achieve a good work-life balance. You are present at our campus in Groenlo at least three days a week.
