Internship: Business Management & Analytics for Global Services

In this role, you have the opportunity to contribute to how Philips organizes and operates globally by analyzing employee and organizational data, generating AI‑enhanced insights, and supporting recommendations that strengthen the effectiveness of our departments and ways of working.

Your role:

  • Assist in the development and creation of global employee data analysis (AI & Analytics focus)
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis enriched by AI‑powered insights to understand drivers behind current structure and data results
  • Assist in business improvement and organizational design
  • Develop a data‑backed improvement plan on how to best organize teams and functions
  • Support managers in defining KPIs, success measures, and future‑state organizational blueprints
  • Compare (benchmark) results between businesses, regions and functions; check (interview) findings with senior stakeholders to enhance recommendations for improvements

You're the right fit if:

  • You are studying towards your Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Data Analytics, HR Analytics, Organizational Development, Economics, or a related field
  • Previous internship or related experience in Data Analytics or Business Administration is a plus
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with curiosity toward AI and data science concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives
  • Highly proficient in English with solid writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with others in a clear and pleasant way
  • A structured and organized approach to your tasks

In return, we offer you:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and whether you need to relocate to The Netherlands (pro-rata for part-time internships)
  • Housing compensation if relocating to the vicinity of the office: €300 net for locations near Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations (rental contract required; home-work travel distance must be more than 50 km or one-way travel time more than 1.5 hours)
  • Travel compensation if you are not eligible for a free public transport card: up to €192 net
  • Paid holidays per internship term
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at the Philips shop
