Share your talents

At Rituals, our Digital Trading team is dedicated to creating an exceptional online shopping experience across our website and app. We’re looking for a Senior Digital Merchandiser who blends strategic category management with hands-on digital merchandising to drive commercial performance and elevate the customer journey. You take end to end ownership for a full category, move fast from insight to action, and use merchandising tools and CRO thinking to continuously improve discoverability, relevance and conversion—at all times safeguarding Rituals’ premium standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Digital Merchandiser you own and execute a digital category strategy and define KPIs to measure success. You will be given end to end ownership of one of the categories in the team. This means for you that you will:

  • Drive commercial performance by monitoring and improving key KPIs.
  • Develop the merchandising strategy for your category across key levers, including sorting, ranking, search, recommendations, upselling & cross-selling, and bundles.
  • Analyse and improve the end-to-end customer journey by optimizing navigation structures, onsite storytelling, product discoverability, and seamless search/browse experiences.
  • Elevate the PDP strategy for your category: content priorities, storytelling, completeness and consistency, identify and resolve PDP content gaps.
  • Initiate and execute CRO improvements: spot conversion blockers, define hypotheses, prioritize opportunities, and support A/B testing and iterative enhancements.
  • Spot and capitalize on trends and industry best practices to drive product and merchandising opportunities.
  • Ensure site accuracy and operational excellence through frequent checks, fast in-season updates, and structured QA—raising issues early and solving them pragmatically.
  • Coordinate and/or lead development initiatives by shaping business opportunities, defining clear business cases and requirements, and coordinating delivery with the development team and stakeholders.
  • Partner closely within the team (Digital & Content specialists) as well as stakeholders in Digital Marketing, Campaign, Content Studio, Innovation, Supply and Tech teams to ensure execution quality, alignment and timely delivery.

"At Rituals, Digital Merchandising goes beyond optimising product placement—it’s about creating an inspiring, seamless experience that deeply connects with our customers. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, love diving into details, and are passionate about using merchandising tools, we can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to our team!"

  • Strong hands-on experience with merchandising tooling (e.g. Algolia or comparable).
  • Proven CRO experience: using data and customer behavior to identify opportunities, shape hypotheses, and drive/partner on experimentation and iterative improvements.
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data daily (e.g. GA4, Power BI or similar).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, high sense ownership, proactive problem-solving, and the confidence to challenge and improve ways of working.
