Job Details

Based in Rotterdam and reporting to the Global Head of Trade & CSP, the International Project Co-Ordinator - Chains will accelerate reach & penetration within International Chains to capture a significant untapped business opportunity.

As a key member of the Global UFS Customer Development team, the International Project Co-Ordinator - Chains plays a pivotal role in supporting markets in partnering with key local & international Chains operators.

Key stakeholders you will work with

  • Global Trade Lead (UK)
  • Global CPU Lead (Rotterdam)
  • Chains Leads (CD) in markets (PUs)
  • Global CPU Technical Culinary Advisors (Rotterdam)
  • UFS Central R&D and Supply Chain Teams

What will your main responsibilities be

Project Co-Ordination

  • Lead customer projects internally, collaborating cross functionally to collate information and prepare responses for customer requests.
  • Input into the completion of activity requests for customer needs.

Internal Stakeholder Management

  • Build relationships with Key Account Managers in local markets, identifying opportunities for cross market expansion.
  • Supporting KAMs with ad-hoc requests and queries to help them grow their businesses locally.
  • Build effective internal networks across Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing and Finance to enable fast collaborative responses to customer requirements.
  • Participate in Global Community Calls with the Key Account Team to update the business on opportunities, threats and focus for actions in year.

Direct Account Management

  • Support the current Global Head of Trade and Global Trade KAM in driving current relationships to deliver growth with international chains.
  • Manage the internal co-ordination of customer requests such as tenders, product submissions and range overviews.

What you need to succeed

Experiences & Qualifications

  • A sales professional, with experience of the food and beverages sector looking for the next step in their career
  • Understanding of the foods business within the chains commercial landscape
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to build relationships with colleagues to deliver business impact
  • Knowledge or experience of selling bespoke SKU’s is beneficial
  • Ideally you will have experience in selling into Chains channel
  • Food & Beverages background preferred within a branded manufacturer
