“With your passion for optimising operations, you help customers strengthen their supply chain.”

We ask our customers: Are your supply chain and logistics fit for changing demand patterns, disruptive events and resource scarcity? Do they support your climate ambitions with cradle-to-cradle insights and action?

Supply chain is our DNA, engineering and analytics our key focus and interest. We believe that applying the right technology enables our customers to improve their supply chain processes and planning. And, as a consequence, improve their business: better results, build resilience and be sustainable.

Our supply chain and logistic solutions ensure:

  • Informed decisions on strategy, tactics and operations throughout the entire chain;
  • A unique mix of process experience, operations research and data science expertise, digital tools and technology.

What you do as Senior Consultant Supply Chain Modelling & Optimisation

What is strategically the optimal supply network? What is the optimal production schedule in manufacturing environment? What is tactically the optimal balance between demand, supply and capacity? What is the optimal energy infrastructure for electrical vehicles? What is the optimal order batching and picking sequence in a warehouse? What is the optimal fleet utilization of an ocean, air, rail or road carrier? And any other supply chain optimisation challenge.

As a Senior Consultant Supply Chain Modelling & Optimisation, you solve these challenges by modelling optimisation applications for our customers, that enable them to make data-driven, scenario-based decisions. You apply your operations research skills and work together with the team to collect and validate the data, to connect the application with the core systems, to design a user interface, to train and support users.

  • You frequently meet with the client to understand their needs and make the connection between the business & the technique;
  • You participate and/or lead the developments of the application, guide the project team and the customer’s team;
  • You lead regular sprint meetings, connecting the business challenges with the solution requirements;
  • You participate in, or manage the implementation of the solution, the training and support, ensuring a smooth go-live and hyper care period.

We work a lot with optimisation software such as AIMMS and Python.
