Description of your professional mission

Portbase plays an independent and crucial role in port logistics. With the increasingly important role that data plays, Portbase is always on the move to unlock these (international) data flows safely and as optimally as possible for its customers and partners.

Together with the team, you are responsible as a Cloud Network Engineer for implementing, optimizing and managing a connectivity hub that links all traffic with the security platform, inspects and processes the traffic with the best possible customer experience.

As a Cloud Network Engineer, you recognize yourself in the Portbase values ​​of leadership, collaboration and progress. You give substance to this by communicating ideas and directions within the organization by participating in the various guilds and designing, testing and implementing the best solutions together with architects and security engineers.

Vereisten

We are looking for you if you can enrich us with

• Experience and affinity with cloud networking & security, this does not necessarily have to be through prior education, but can also be gained through work experience.
• Analytical thinking skills to be able to analyze problems with a focus on connectivity, traffic flows and security.
• Interest in the complex (logistics) domains of Portbase.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure. Preferably AWS and services such as VPCs, Transit Gateways.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience in the network edge & perimeter. Preferably Cloudflare and technologies such as WAF, DNS.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, New Relic & OpsGenie is a plus.
