Curious about what diplomats actually do and how the Netherlands navigates an increasingly complex and diverse world? Join us for Meet the Diplomats, an opportunity to hear from two Dutch diplomats, Simon van Oortmerssen and Marc Moquette, who will share their experiences and perspectives on diplomatic work.
The discussion will explore how diplomats navigate and reconcile different values in an increasingly pluralistic world, including the challenges of engaging with China and other international actors with different perspectives and priorities.
This event is particularly relevant for students interested in international relations, diplomacy, Dutch foreign policy, or the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Come along, bring your questions, and gain insights into the world of diplomacy. We look forward to seeing you there!
