Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you ensure that Nedap’s Expert Teams can rely on accurate financial figures. These teams bring together specialists to address challenges that affect multiple business units. By pooling their expertise, they tackle these challenges together, allowing the business units to focus on their own markets.

You manage the planning and control cycle for the Expert Teams and make financial information clear to the people who use it. You also work with Concern Control on consolidation and group reporting. You have the opportunity to deepen your expertise, improve processes, and explore how automation and AI can help you work more effectively.

Your responsibilities

You make the figures clear

You prepare regular reports and help the Expert Teams understand what the results mean for their plans and decisions;

You strengthen the financial foundations:

You analyze financial information and work with colleagues to improve the processes and controls that ensure reliable figures;

You contribute to the overall financial picture

Together with Concern Control, you work on Nedap’s consolidation and group reporting;

You turn ideas into improvements

In financial projects, you translate opportunities for automation and smarter ways of working into concrete actions.

Your team

You join Financial Control. Within this team, you focus on the Expert Teams and work regularly with Concern Control. Together with Business Control, both teams are part of Nedap’s wider Finance team.

Your work combines recurring financial control activities with new challenges. You can learn from experienced colleagues in Financial Control and Concern Control and gradually take on more responsibility. This allows you to explore different aspects of finance and develop a broad understanding of Nedap.

• Salary: Based on your knowledge and experience. The salary for this role ranges from €3,400 to €3,700 gross per month, based on a full-time, 38-hour workweek.

Required skills

You enjoy exploring what lies behind the figures. You work carefully, ask questions when something is unclear, and connect financial information to the processes behind it. You do not simply take existing ways of working for granted: you contribute ideas for improvement, including through automation and AI. You do not need to be an experienced controller yet; your motivation to learn matters just as much to us.

You also bring:

• A degree from a university of applied sciences or a research university in finance, accounting, business economics, or a related field;
• A good command of Dutch and English;
• The ability to analyze financial information and explain it clearly;
• An interest in financial control, financial reporting, consolidation, and IFRS.
