What a day in the internship could look like
‘’No two days are the same, which is exactly what makes this internship so exciting.I usually start my day at the office by catching up with colleagues and seeing what everyone is working on. The team is incredibly welcoming, and it's always nice to hear about the different projects and priorities across the department. After settling in, I open my laptop, check my calendar, and review the meetings and tasks planned for the day. A big part of my internship is supporting the team with a variety of activities, including localization projects, data analysis, communication initiatives, and creating or improving templates and assets. I also participate in team meetings where I can observe how different projects are managed and gain valuable insight into how things work at HEINEKEN. The flexibility of the role and the ability to prioritize different tasks are some of the things I enjoy most. Every day brings new opportunities to learn and contribute. Lunch is another highlight of the day. My team often gets together to enjoy a meal in the restaurant, which is a great way to connect outside of meetings. Sometimes I take a short walk around the Amsterdam office area before returning refreshed and ready to continue working on my projects. Of course, no day is complete without a good cup of coffee. Whenever I need a fresh perspective, a quick coffee break often helps me come back with new ideas and renewed focus. I'm also part of the intern community, and our group chat keeps us informed about networking events, workshops, and social activities throughout the year.’’
