Role and responsibilities
As a EHS Business Partner, you will:
- Act as a trusted EHS advisor to operations, engineering and facility management teams.
- Collaborate with EHS Subject Matter Experts to implement safety initiatives across various business units.
- Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and ASML policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks related within a highly complex industrial Factory.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to enhance workplace safety awareness.
- Support the development and refinement of safety policies and procedures.
- Track safety performance indicators to provide insights for improvement.
Education and experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety management and in a technical field (f.i. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
- At least 15 years of experience in health and safety within high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor production.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch and EU safety regulations, including the Safety Act and Environmental Act.
Skills
To thrive in this position, you will need the following skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, FMEA) and incident investigation techniques (Kelvin Topset, Tripod Beta, RCA).
- Strong analytical skills to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
